What is most useful to send

Corrections, especially to a cap, a deadline, or a licensing requirement. Those are the errors that can cost someone money, and we would much rather hear about one than not. If you can point at the source that shows we are wrong, we will update the page and its review date.

Accessibility barriers. Tell us what you were trying to do, which page, and — if you are comfortable saying — what assistive technology you were using. We treat these as bugs.

Primary sources we have missed. Large parts of this site are marked “not confirmed” because we could not read a figure in an agency’s own materials. If you work for a state program, or you have the document, that is genuinely valuable to us.

What we cannot do

We cannot arrange cleanup. We do not perform it, dispatch it, or refer to companies that do. If you need work done, here is what to check before you hire anyone.

We cannot advise on your specific claim. We are not lawyers, adjusters, or your carrier. What we can do is tell you what the published rules say and which agency to call.

We cannot provide crisis support. If you need someone now, 988 answers calls and texts at any hour and has Spanish-language service, and Crisis Text Line answers texts sent to 741741. More at /support/.

Press

Same address. We are happy to talk about the state compensation and licensing research, including what we could not verify and why.
