Who writes this
Every page on this site carries a named author and a visible last-reviewed date. Pages that touch death, suicide or hoarding carry a second name: the sensitivity reviewer, who reads the page for harm rather than for accuracy.
Those are different jobs and we do not collapse them into one. A page can be factually impeccable and still be the wrong thing to put in front of someone whose parent died last week.
What we ask of an author here
This is YMYL content in the most literal sense — a wrong filing deadline costs a real family real money that cannot be recovered. So an author on this site is accountable for three things:
- Every R3 claim traced to a primary government source, with the source and the date recorded on the page.
- Every gap declared as a gap. Where a figure could not be confirmed, the page says so and names the agency to call.
- Compliance with the published tone mandate, which is enforced in our build pipeline rather than left to judgement.
