Everything on this site is general information. It is **not legal advice, not insurance advice, and not medical advice**, and reading it does not create a professional relationship of any kind.

## Verify anything with a deadline or a dollar figure

Three categories of information here can cost you real money if they are out of date, and all three change:

- **Compensation caps and deadlines.** States revise these. A deadline that passed is not recoverable.

- **Licensing and registration requirements.** These are set by state and amended by legislature.

- **Insurance coverage.** What your policy covers is decided by your policy document and your carrier, not by any general description.

Every page carrying this kind of content shows a Jurisdiction Notice naming the agency to verify with, and a date. Use them.

## What we mark as unverified

Where we could not confirm something from a primary source, the page says so rather than filling the gap. That includes several state compensation caps, most state licensing regimes, meth lab decontamination thresholds, and state-by-state stigmatised property disclosure law.

“Not confirmed” on this site means we could not read it in the source’s own materials. It does not mean it does not exist. Call the agency.

## We do not perform or arrange cleanup

We have no crews and no commercial relationship with any company that does. Nothing here is a recommendation of a specific provider, and nothing here should be read as vouching for one.
