# Advertising disclosure

This disclosure is made under the US Federal Trade Commission's endorsement guides, 16 CFR Part 255.

## Right now

**This site carries no advertising.** No display ads, no sponsored posts, no affiliate links, no paid placements, and no paid inclusion in any list.

**We are not paid by any cleanup company.** We do not sell leads, we do not take referral fees, and no company has funded, reviewed, or been given advance sight of anything published here.

**Nothing here is a recommendation of a specific company.** Where we name companies, it is to describe the market, not to route you to one.

## If advertising is introduced

The intention is display advertising in future. That would be disclosed here before any ad code ships, and four limits are written into this site’s configuration rather than left to good intentions:

- **No affiliate products on any death-, suicide- or hoarding-related page.** Ever. Not in any form.

- **No advertising anywhere under [/support/](https://biohazardcrown.shop/support/).**

- **No advertisement, and no call to action, above a crisis resource block.** Our page templates refuse to render one there.

- **Death- and suicide-related pages excluded from behavioural targeting.**

Our build pipeline enforces the first three. A page that violates them does not publish.

## Why this matters here more than elsewhere

The entire value of this site rests on one thing: that when we tell a grieving family their insurance may cover this, or that their state may pay for it, we have no financial interest in what they do next.

The moment we take money from a cleanup company, that sentence stops being credible — not because we would necessarily change what we write, but because you would have no way to know whether we had. So we do not, and this page will say plainly if that ever changes.
